Meeting Minutes – September, 2026

*Meeting called to order on 9/8/26, at The Osceola Fair Grounds by Spencer.

Secretary’s report:  

• All past month’s meeting minutes are posted on our club webpage (www.osceolavalleysnogoers.com).  They stand approved.

Treasurer’s report: 

• Memberships coming in.

Old Business:

• Eliminate the May meeting? Need to check the bylaws.

New Business: 

• Duane asked about a donation to the cancer walk this weekend. Angel agrees.
  • Motion to donate $100 by Starkey, Second by Nate G. Stepping out in Pink.

Council Report:

• This week Thursday the 10th is the meeting.
• The land for the new council facility has been deeded. Seeking local bids.
• Winter kill for alfalfa-Scott Carlson, due to ice pack 2025-26 season.

KAOS Youth Club: 

• Meets 9/8

Fair Revenue Committee:

• Chair:  Cyndi Sommerfeldt
• Updates:
  • Need more volunteers or just shut down early
  • Food permit on Friday or Saturday
  • Screen door needs to be replaced
    • Spencer at Ace Hardware

Fun Run Revenue Committee:

• Chair:  Laurel Feldt
• Updates:
  • No new update.

Landowner Appreciation Committee:

• Chair:  Donna Berg
• Updates:
  • No new update.

Scholarship / Donation Committee:

• Chair:  Angel Olson
• Updates:
  • No new update.

Social Committee:

• Chair:  Spencer Feldt / Eric Hallen
• Updates:
  • No new update

Social Media Committee:

• Chair:  Eric Hallen / Frank Sommerfeldt
• Updates:
  • Angel is going to post fair sign up

Trail Committee:

• Chair:  Doug Kromrey  
• Updates:
  • Starkey and Gordy will work with the Village on trail behind/south of the Airport
  • Snowmobile Safety Course October 19th, 20th, and 22nd
    • Motion by Nate G, second by Jim B to pay for class fees.

Next Meeting: October 6th, 2026 at The Village Pizzeria in Dresser at 7:00pm.
