The secretary’s report was read and approved. Treasurer’s report was read and approved.
Greg Swanson reported that under the new trail pass law that clubs with smaller than 10 members do not qualify as a club. Doug Johnson former AWSC member will be riding in the MS ride again this year representing Polk County. There was a great turn out for the groomer rodeo. Greg also thanked everyone who helped in converting the tractors.
Nothing new to report. Next Youth Club meeting is January 12th at the groomer shed in Balsam Lake.
Gordy reported that we need snow!! And thanked everyone who helped with the brushing from Peace Lutheran Church to SCF. Also when we can ride keep an eye out for missing posts. Contact info. for trail bosses are:

Club dues are due by January 1st. The new membership/renewal form is sent with the December newsletter. This form can also be found on our Facebook page or our website. Dues need to be paid by the end of January or your renewal in the AWSC will be discontinued.
Our resolution to the by-laws has been approved and added.
The safari is scheduled for January 23rd & 24th. Rooms are booked at the St. Croix Inn in Solon Springs, WI. 715-378-4444. Room rates are $92.50 for lake side rooms or $82.50 for road side. All rooms blocked for us have two double beds. We have 10 rooms blocked under the Osceola Valley Sno-Goers.
Scott Carlson reported that there was crop damage on land owned by John Newman and Ted Johnson. We approved payment to the land owners and to turn it into the county for reimbursement.
There is a snowmobile radar run and vintage ride sponsored by the Wild River snowmobile club being held January 31st. in Chisago Lakes.
Frank Sommerfeldt checked into updating our website to accept paypal for membership dues. The cost was quoted at $75.00 – $100.00. Motion was made and approved to do the update.
It was reported that club members have received a phone call from an insurance agent stating they represent the AWSC and need to visit you to get signatures for your insurance benefit. You do not need to meet with an agent for this benefit. But of course you can if you would like.
The overnighter ride is scheduled for February 13th. Ride to Danbury on Friday stay at the Danbury casino and ride home Saturday. I will send out the full details later. Contact President Eric if you have any questions.
The social committee needs to set a date for the ride and party at the shelter.
Fair committee had nothing to report.
Land Owners committee as set April 18th as a tentative date for the land owners dinner.
The nominating committee is looking for any volunteers for President and Secretary as current positions are up for re-election in September. If you are interested or have a person you would like to be considered please let anyone on the nominating committee know. The nominating committee is our current officers and board of directors.

We also have one new commercial membership – Peterson Excavating, Inc.
