The February 3, 2015 meeting was brought to order by President Eric Hallen
The secretary’s report was read and approved. Treasurer’s report was read and approved.
Sheri also reported that the AWSC is not recognizing non-married couples in the same household as both being members for the purpose of the reduced registration and trail pass. It will depend on how the snowmobile is registered. So both people will have to have AWSC membership.
The AWSC is allowing renewal on line. Sheri is going to get a check card for our account we will update our clubs membership on line.
Council Report:
Greg Swanson reported that being we haven’t been able to open the trails this year that it is especially important to turn in any trail work hours as this is how the county gets funded. Also if you have the opportunity now please check your trails and put in additional hours if needed. The county is still considering doing the groomer’s dinner this year.
Youth Club:
Nothing new to report. Next Youth Club meeting is February 9, 2015 at McKenzie Lanes at 6:30 p.m.
Trail Bosses:
Gordy reported that we need snow!! Kirk reported that he has developed a spread sheet for tracking trail maintenance if anyone is interested please contact him and he will forward to you.

Old Business:
Club dues are past due. The new membership/renewal form was sent with the December and January newsletter. Also unpaid members where sent an email reminder. The form can also be found on our Facebook page or our website. Dues need to be paid now as we need to renew our AWSC membership. Unpaid members will not be renewed in the AWSC, this will affect the amount you will have to pay to register your sled and trail pass for next year.
The safari was cancelled due to lack of snow.
Frank Sommerfeldt is working on the website update so dues can be paid to the club on line.
The overnighter ride is scheduled for February 13th. Just not the snowmobiling part. Leave Friday stay at the Danbury casino may win some money and come home Saturday. Contact President Eric if you have any questions 715-417-1548
New Business:
The social committee has set March 7th for the ride and party at the shelter. If we cannot ride snowmobile we can get to the shelter via vehicle.
Doug Kromrey passed out decals to put on the back of signs, please carry these when you are riding and if you see a sign without a reflective decal on the back take the time to stop and put one on.
Fair committee had nothing to report.
Land Owners dinner committee as confirmed April 18th, 2015 for the land owner’s dinner.
The nominating committee is looking for any volunteers for President and Secretary as current positions are up for re-election in September. If you are interested or have a person you would like to be considered please let anyone on the nominating committee know. The nominating committee is our current officers and board of directors.
Welcome new members Duane & Patti Bethke, Tony Herbert, Chris & Kate Shermach and Jeff & Michelle Waletzko.
I’ve also attached with these minutes the committee sign-up sheet. Please review and try to volunteer for one of the committees.
