Meeting Minutes – November 2026
*Meeting called to order on 11/3/26, at The Friendly Bar by Spencer.
Secretary’s report:
- All past month’s meeting minutes are posted on our club webpage (www.osceolavalleysnogoers.com). They stand approved.
Treasurer’s report:
- 55 members 20 land owners
- Unknown donation
Old Business:
- Members passed bylaw change by voice vote to eliminate the May meeting and change nominations and elections to match.
- Need new Fair Committee Chair Person
New Business:
- None
Council Report:
- Groomer Rodeo Dec 5th at 11am
- Required for new operators
- Trail reroutes
- Building 2 rollers
- All tractors to have maintenance logs
- Substantial donations for new building, planning for 2028 ground breaking
- Stower trail is costing the county 30k a year in maintenance
- Stower meeting held, another meeting upcoming w/public comment
KAOS Youth Club:
- Meets 11/10
- Trail sign day is November 7th 9am at McKenzie Lanes in Centuria
Committee Reports:
Fair Revenue Committee:
- Chair: Open
- Updates:
- Need more volunteers
Fun Run Revenue Committee:
- Chair: Laurel Feldt
- Updates:
- Meeting was held
- Run dates are January 15th to February 20th
- Tentative date of February 20th at Ken’s Keyboard.
- Get sponsor lists by December Meeting.
Landowner Appreciation Committee:
- Chair: Donna Berg
- Updates:
- If moving to March this committee will need a new Chairperson
- Check attendance at next dinner(need a location!)
Scholarship / Donation Committee:
- Chair: Angel Olson
- Updates:
- Superbowl weekend for meat raffle
Social Committee:
- Chair: Spencer Feldt / Eric Hallen
- Updates:
- Solon Springs January 21st?
- Fall club event at the shelter?
Social Media Committee:
- Chair: Eric Hallen / Frank Sommerfeldt
- Updates:
- Angel is going to post meetings and other information to bookface
Trail Committee:
- Chair: Doug Kromrey
- Updates:
- Gordy has been talking with Nick Johnson on land east of the airport
- Kirk J motioned to pay up to 2k and if no Haydays funds Him and Angel will do another meat raffle to cover. 2nd by Frank S. Motion passed.
- Doug is building a roller for packing the trails.
- Trail signing the 7th through the 15th. Doug will send out emails and cards. Trail bosses need to talk to their land owners.
- Myron will need some assistance signing Dresser East trail to Kaos Shelter
- Nate will be signing after thanksgiving
Next Meeting: December 1st, 2026 at Pottsies Place at 7:00pm.
