Our club Safari took place on January 20-23. We stayed at the Grand Pines Motel on Lower Round Lake in Hayward, WI. We had terrific turnout this year with 26 members attending. We were fortunate to have a large ‘clubroom’ at our disposal during the weekend where the members could gather and get to know each other better. We had dinner on Thursday night, watched playoff football on Saturday night and played many games over the weekend like cribbage, Hammerschlagen, Jenga, ping-pong and foosball. The group liked the accommodations so well, that we have already reserved the Grand Pines Motel for the 2023 Safari. Even though the snow was thin, we had decent riding and we were able to make good miles.
