The March 3, 2015 meeting was brought to order by President Eric Hallen
The secretary’s report was read and approved. Treasurer’s report was read and approved.
Sheri also reported that the AWSC dues have been paid and our membership cards should be available at the next meeting.
Council Report:
Greg Swanson reported that the Groomer’s dinner is planned for April 9, 2015 and he needs a head count by March 5, 2015. Trails are opening in Polk County on Wednesday March 4. Since the meeting it has been decided that they will only be open north of Hwy. 8.
Rear couplers are being replaced on the tractors which is covered under warranty.
There are rumors that the rail road may be putting tracks back in on the Amery to Dresser and Cat Tail trails. This is not confirmed.
Youth Club:
Did a ride to Rhinelander a few weeks ago, about 6 members of the youth club went they had a good time. Next youth club meeting is Monday 03/09 at McKenzie Lanes at 6:30 p.m.
Trail Bosses:
Gordy reported that we will schedule trail closing day for the first or second week in April. Ronnie Rixman wants a gate on his land. Greg Swanson is going to check with the county if they will cover the costs.

Old Business:
March 7th, shelter party has been cancelled, due to that we don’t have enough snow to get there by sled and too much snow to get to the shelter with vehicles easily.
Decals are available for new members.
New Business:
Dick Hoppe broke his hip, he is recovering at home. Motion was made and passed to send him a plant.
Land Owners dinner committee as confirmed April 18th, 2015 for the land owner’s dinner at Potting’s Bar. The committee will meet to discuss dinner options this year. We may try something different than KFC. Invitations will be mailed to the landowner’s around March 18th.

We have budgeted to do a scholarship again this year for OHS, we will do a $500.00 scholarship.
The nominating committee is looking for any volunteers for President and Secretary as current positions are up for re-election in September. If you are interested or have a person you would like to be considered please let anyone on the nominating committee know. The nominating committee is our current officers and board of directors.
Next club meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. on April 7th, 2015 at Sue’s Bar & Grill.
