Meeting was called to order by President Rick McGuiggan. Secretary’s report was read and approved. Treasurer’s report was read and approved.
Council Report:
The 25 MPH on lakes speed limit failed statewide but the vote was extremely close. The county council wants maintenance records turned in by the first of July. If you have hours to turn in get your hours worked on trails to Gordy Jones, Kirk Larson or Roger Peterson. The groomer’s dinner was held as planned, attendance was down from past years, they watched the Discover Wisconsin DVD at the groomers dinner.

Old business:
Land owners dinner was April 14, turnout was good. Approximately 100 people between members and land owners attended. We’ve submitted an article and pictures from our land owners dinner to WSN Magazine. It should be published in the September issue. I will let members know once I have confirmation. Total spent on the landowners dinner was $1380.82
New Business:
Doug Kromrey brought up a concern on the trail that is south of Potting’s on Dennis Cotter’s land. The trail needs to be widened as it is a safety concern. Doug will discuss potential changes with Scott Tinney.
Jason Mork attended the meeting to discuss insurance for the county. Secretary will advise Jason contact information for Greg Swanson.
The Osceola community fair and Heyday’s were discussed. The fair committee is Paul and Barb Durand, Nate Gustafson, Duane Wolter, and Doug and Terri Kromrey. Roger Peterson volunteered to take care of the float for the parade. Duane Wolter will drive the groomer with the drag in the parade. Heyday’s committee is Rick and Terri LeRoux, Lois Grundhoefer and Eric Hallen. Rick reported that this year for Heyday’s set up will be much easier as they know what to expect. Nate Gustafson will provide Rick LeRoux a balance sheet to track our expenses and income for the food stands. Suzy Wente will send out sign up sheets for workers for the fair, truck pull and Heyday’s food stand in late July to start generating interest in working at these events.
Andrew Kromrey is our Polk County Youth Club representative along with Brittney from Milltown. They will be starting their youth club meetings this fall.
