Secretary’s report:
- May and all past month meeting minutes are posted on webpage. Approved.
Treasurer’s report:
- Frank traveling, so treasurer’s report read by Spencer as provided by Frank. Approved.
- Fiscal year ended June 30. Right on budget for the year.
Media/Marketing:
- Send any club related pics to Frank for website posting.
- Eric still maintaining club’s Facebook.
Council Report:
- No meetings recently. Next meeting is 8/10.
- This will be a year for new trail maps. Seeking map sponsorships from businesses. Contact Council/Frank/Eric if your business is interested in being a sponsor or if you know of a business that is interested.
Trail Bosses Report:
- Some landowner changes coming. Not expecting major reroutes. One reroute in Brad’s area.
- Bridge by Horse Creek to get some attention this fall.
- Trail 30 planning continues. Let Frank know if you have any extra signs or posts.
KAOS Youth Club:
- No meeting since April.
- Next meeting in September.
Old Business:
- Bowling after May meeting was a success. No champion declared.
- Landowner’s brunch was a hit. Good turnout. Appreciate everyone’s help.
New Business:
- Club membership renewals due. Expired on June 30.
- Discounted trail passes need active memberships. Trail passes also expired June 30.
- Fair planning starting up.
- Kevin to send out sign-up sheet for working shifts.
- One fridge stopped working last year. Used fridge donated by club member.
- One soda fridge stopped working last year. Tried to fix it, but no success. Nate to check if Bernick’s has a used one we could buy.
- Plan to arrive at fair grounds any time after 5:00 before next meeting on 9/5 to set up tent and clean out food booth.
Trip Committee:
- Planning for same as past 2 years Round Lake, Hayward, WI area.
Social Committee:
- Planning for club party at Eric’s sometime this winter. More details to come.
Next Meeting: September 5, 2023 at the Osceola Fair Grounds at 7:30pm. Tent setup starting any time after 5:00.
