*Meeting called to order on 5/2/23, 7:30pm at Osceola Lanes by Eric.

Secretary’s report: 

  • April and all past month meeting minutes are posted on webpage.  Approved.

Treasurer’s report:

  • Approved as read by Frank. 
  • No income last month.
  • Expenses for Landowners brunch and scholarships.

Media/Marketing: 

  • Website up to date per Frank
  • Send shelter ride etc pics to Frank for website posting.
  • Eric has been posting to Facebook. 

Council Report:

  • New Signing for Gandy Dancer
  • Remember to report any information on land sale changes
  • New maps and trail sponsors next year.  Contact Council/Frank if your business is interested in being a sponsor
  • Next AWSC meeting in Green Bay.
  • Stower trail had 77 complaints this year, but no judge to read them.
  • Polk County was identified as 2nd best trails in the nation this year!  Best was somewhere in Idaho?

Trail Bosses Report: 

  • Keep track and report all people, hours and equipment used to your trail boss for entry into the state system for payment. Kevin is entering in SNARS.
  • Per Scott the Horse creek bridge footings will need to be looked at before next season.
  • Trail 30 pre meeting Frank

Need help this fall with signing, 750 signs

1 gate at N Cedar Lake

20 miles total, 10 miles of woods management

30 additional land owners

KAOS Youth Club:

  • The April annual raffle drawing was a success
  • Like our club, they will have the summer off

Old Business:

  • Landowners brunch planning is underway. 
  • The 2 x $500 scholarships have been awarded on 5/10/23 by Angel

Congratulations to Cecilia Gustafson and Jack Nelson

New Business:

  • Election of 4 officers for next 2 years following this meeting

Trip Committee:

  • Same as past 2 years Round Lake, Hayward, WI area.

Social Committee:

  • Landowners Brunch 5/7/23 at UWWanderoos

Next Meeting: August 1, 2023 at Tippy Canoes at 7:30pm
