Meeting Minutes – January 6th, 2026

*Meeting called to order on 2/3/2026, 7:07pm by Jim Berg at Doboys.

Secretary’s report:  

• All past month’s meeting minutes are posted on our club webpage (www.osceolavalleysnogoers.com).  They stand approved.
• Thank you to Cyndi for helping with the minutes

Treasurer’s report: 

• 115 paid members, 14 Commercial, and land owners
• Raffle licence for meat raffle(Angel has a copy)  

Old Business:

• Rubber tire trail roller
  • Doug to talk to Cornicopia
  • Council to pay, if no club will pay.
  • One per tractor ideally

New Business: 

• UW Wanderoos fire
  • UW had donated 1000 from Hunters Party and 250 for Fun run
  • Motion by Kirk Johnson to donate the $1250 back, seconded by Rhett Larson
  • Angel will deliver the check with ATV club check to Tammy and Jerry

Council Report:

• New groomer operators need a copy of licence to council
• In the event of closed trails, continue trail maintenance if needed
• Contact Trail Boss or Doug with trail issues
• Bill on track to be passed raising permits and registrations
• Check the State website for trail open/closed status https://www.travelwisconsin.com/snowreport/snowmobile
• County does not have funds to continue to maintain Stower, they will be looking to have the DNR take it over. Possibly still need another hearing.

KAOS Youth Club: 

• Annual raffle upcoming
• Next meeting is next week.  2/10

Fair Revenue Committee:

Fun Run Revenue Committee:

• Chair:  Laurel Feldt
• Updates:
  • The fun run started January 15th and runs through February 21.
  • 90 tickets sold
  • Club members have an opportunity to get a free membership if they sell 5 Fun Run Cards, these are ready to go
  • Ken’s Keyboard will be our gold sponsor and final location on 2/21.
  • Cards are $25 each which includes a shirt and a map
  • Prizes include a gear bag and cooler donated by Polaris(Thanks Karter), plus $25 gift cards

Landowner Appreciation Committee:

• Chair:  Donna Berg
• Updates:
  • April Meeting to be moved to PY’s
  • Possible different location for Land Owner Appreciation event

Scholarship / Donation Committee:

• Chair:  Angel Olson
• Updates:
  • Meat raffle at the world famous Busch Lite Challenge is 2/6/26, Pottsies
  • 5 rounds. Volunteers needed to sell tickets

Social Committee:

• Chair:  Spencer Feldt / Eric Hallen
• Updates:
  • Safari was cold. -33 Saturday. 160 miles rode.

Social Media Committee:

• Chair:  Eric Hallen / Frank Sommerfeldt
• Updates:
  • Website has been updated for payments and it was cleaned up a little bit.

Trail Committee:

• Chair:  Doug Kromrey  
• Updates:
  • Trail 30 Crossing Church Rd resolved by Scott Carlson shuttling snow to fill in the ditch. Thanks Scott!
  • Drag has been repaired

Finance Committee:

• Chair:  Frank Sommerfeldt
• Updates:

Next Meeting: March 3rd, 2026 at Pottsies Place at 7:00pm.
