Meeting Minutes – October, 2025
*Meeting called to order on 10/7/25, 7:05pm by Spencer at Ken’s Keyboard.
Secretary’s report:
- All past month’s meeting minutes are posted on our club webpage (www.osceolavalleysnogoers.com). They stand approved.
Treasurer’s report:
- BOD approved the proposed budget.
- Fair number were down.
- Memberships continue to come in. Reminder that membership goes up to $30/family on 11/1/25, early payments now are $20/family.
- Checking and rainy-day accounts remain healthy
- Fun run Gold sponsor and 14 Silver sponsors are set.
- Spencer mentioned the possibility of having membership discounted for volunteering with club activities(more discussion in future)
Old Business:
- Banner was made for McNutt’s
New Business:
- Snowmobile Safety Class October 20th, 21st, and 23 at the Osceola OIS, fee covered by the OVSG.
- Duane worked with the Pizzeria and Ward’s Bar to be on the trail maps
- Brush clearing needed to Ward’s
- Nate Gustafson will be leading trail 12 from Dresser to the KAOS Shelter and Karter McNutt will be leading trail 43 from Dresser to the Dalles House
Council Report:
- Bridge north of Luck on the Gandy Dancer will be being removed and the trail will have a road crossing.
- Council has discussed adding gates to the snowmobile trails off of the Gandy Dancer for frozen ground use of Gandy to keep wheeled machines off snowmobile trails if not open as well.
KAOS Youth Club:
- Next meeting is next week. 10/14

Fair Revenue Committee:
- Chair: Cyndi Sommerfeldt (report by Nate)
- Updates:
- THANKS TO ALL THAT HELPED!!!
- Some extra meat available
- Weather kept sales down, comparable to 2019
- Continue to get ice from R&G Club
- Need lights in the truck pull tent
- More help is needed for the Fair
Fun Run Revenue Committee:
- Chair: Laurel Feldt (update by Spencer)
- Updates:
- The fun run will start February 1 and run through February 21.
- There will be more ‘stops’ to include more stops in Osceola.
- Ken’s Keyboard will be our gold sponsor and final location on 2/21.
- Working on Bronze level sponsors
Landowner Appreciation Committee:
- Chair: Donna Berg

Scholarship / Donation Committee:
- Chair: Angel Olson
- Updates:
- Busch Lite Challenge is 2/6/26 ?
Social Committee:
- Chair: Spencer Feldt / Eric Hallen
- Updates:
- Membership appreciation to be held 12/6 starting at 3pm at Eric’s. This will include the McNutt appreciation event. Kaos club will be included in this appreciation due to the McNutts many years of service to this club as well.
- Hayward or Solon Springs discussed for the Safari, Eric will make a reservation for the club
Social Media Committee:
- Chair: Eric Hallen / Frank Sommerfeldt
- Updates:
- Our on line membership form and all related links for payments provider is no longer providing this service. Frank will be looking into other options including working with Angel to replicate the ATV Club form/supplier. This may require some cost.
Trail Committee:
- Chair: Doug Kromrey
- Updates:
- Karter McNutt will be leading trail 43 from Dresser to the Dalles House
- Nate Gustafson will be leading trail 12 from Dresser to the KAOS shelter
- Trail from Dresser north to Interstate Park has some issues. Doug will work with Karter and will find a solution
Finance Committee:
- Chair: Frank Sommerfeldt
